About Leon

I have always been a very creative person for as long as I can remember. I live by the motto that “I didn’t choose art, art chose me”.

Knowing that I wanted a career in the art field I studied Graphic Design & Illustration in St John’s College Cork and further Illustration in Ballyfermot (BCFE) in Dublin.

While in college, I learned to use programs like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, which led me to discover a whole new world of digital art and possibilities. I leaned into the digital sphere very heavily and I’ve since moved on to using an Ipad Pro tablet. This means I can draw digital works straight to screen.

I also make Pen & Ink works and experiment with Photography and Animation.

I would describe myself as a Geek, which carries a wide range of influences to my work: Science Fiction, Graphic Novels, Movies, Japanese Culture and Anime.

I have had my work displayed on Billboards and created logos and illustrations for various individuals, groups, and companies.
